How to Register Your DSC on the New Income Tax e-Filing Portal
Follow these easy steps to register your Digital Signature Certificate on the updated e-filing platform:
Step 1: Go to the Income Tax e-Filing Website
Go to the new e-filing portal by accessing www.incometax.gov.in.
Step 2: Open ‘My Profile’ Section
After logging in, navigate to the ‘My Profile’ tab on your dashboard.
Step 3: Start the DSC Registration Process
On the left panel of ‘My Profile,’ click on ‘Register DSC’ to proceed.
Step 4: Provide Required Information
Enter the email ID linked to your DSC token, check the box confirming that you have installed the emsigner utility, and hit ‘Continue’ to finalize the registration.
